First year medical students from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry are taking part in the 28th annual Discovery Week getting the taste of rural life in Midwestern Ontario.
Students are completing the week with training at the Hanover and District Hospital for the next two weeks with Schulich Medicine physicians in training.
Students will learn about the local healthcare setting and have opportunities to discover all the community has to offer.
Discovery Week has been a long standing program giving first year medical students the chance to experience what life and healthcare looks like in regional and rural communities across Southwestern Ontario.
