A driver caught going almost 100km over the posted speed limit will answer in court next month.
Stratford Police was conducting patrol on Perth Road 112 near Line 29 in Perth South when they observed a black BMW SUV caught on a radar system driving 173km an hour in a posted 80 zone.
The vehicle was stopped with the driver identified as a 28 year old from Woodstock.
The driver was given a speeding and Stunt Driving charge and will appear in court in April.
The accused was also given a 30 day license suspension and vehicle impounded for 14 days.
