A 27 year old has been charged after a break and enter in Palmerston.
On June 14th at around 4am, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of an altercation.
It was reported the accused broke into a home and assaulted a victim who suffered minor injuries and was assessed by paramedics.
The accused fled before police arrived but was later arrested.
A 27 year old faces multiple charges including Assault, Break and Enter, Flight from an Officer, Operation While Impaired and Mischief.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
