A total of 262 charges were laid over the August long weekend by Perth County OPP.
All members took part in the Civic Holiday Long Weekend traffic initiative which ran from the 4th-7th.
Police put a main focus again on the big 4, distracted, aggressive and impaired driving as well as making sure everyone was wearing their seat belts.
Provincial police also put focus on making sure the Move Over law was being obeyed for drivers to pull over for vehicles responding to an emergency.
Of the charges laid, 195 were for speeding, 3 seat belts, 4 for stunt driving and 2 impaired.
Perth County OPP responded to six crashes with just one having minor injuries.
