Thanks to the strong generosity of the public to Listowels Salvation Army, 250 children will wake up Christmas morning with gifts under the tree.
This year, many have turned to help more than ever and many others showed their support and donated to their local charities as well. Volunteers with the Salvation Army spent time sorting and processing toys for children who are registered.
Each child will receive 2 toys, stocking stuffers and new winter clothing. Food was given out this past Monday with toys handed out on Tuesday.
