A 24 year old is dead after a drowning incident at the Elora Quarry.
On June 24th at around 6:30pm, Wellington County OPP was called to help EMS at the quarry with a report of a swimmer in distress.
Emergency crews found one individual who was removed from the water and transported to a local hospital.
Despite life saving efforts, the 24 year old man was pronounced dead. Investigation remains ongoing.
