They might not be in every store this year but Poppy Boxes are out around town. The 2020 Poppy Campaign is looking very different this year.
Volunteers aren’t outside business’ and the drive to donate online is encouraged. Tracy Nichol from the Listowel Legion Branch 259 says there are still many ways to support.
“We don’t have the little boxes in every store. We would like the support. From the mail ins, coming to the Legion.” said Nichol.
For the Remembrance Day Ceremony, residents are asked to not attend at the Cenotaph and instead go online to view. Many ceremonies will be going online this year.
