It’s a big week for the country on the vaccine front as 2.2 million doses are set to arrive in Canada.
Shipments from Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca are all on the list but its not without controversy.
Of the shipment, 315,000 doses of AstraZeneca will be delivered from COVAX, a global sharing initiative which was designed to deliver vaccines to poorer countries.
Any country which contributes to COVAX is free to take from the supply but critics say it defeats the purpose to take vaccines when you mean to have to given to poor countries in need.
