The Town of Erin is putting forward $27,500 in Community Grant funding for local service groups.
In April last year, council agreed to expand the grant budget from $20,500 to $30,000 annually to support local organizations which serve Erin residents.
Mayor Michael Dehn says they work hard to be fair for all qualified groups which make submissions and they are proud and thankful for all groups who dedicate their time to Erin.
A total of 19 community groups qualified this year for funding for a variety of community programs and initiatives.
