A 16 year old Stratford male has been charged with attempted murder.
Stratford Police responded to a report just after 4pm on Monday about a teenager being attacked with a hatchet around Brydges Street and Louise Street.
Police arrived to the find the victim with non life threatening injuries and found the attack happened at a home on Louise Street.
The suspect left the scene but somebody had called police saying the suspect and victim were known to each other.
Police were able to locate the suspect at his home just after 4:30pm and was arrested and held in custody with a court appearance later today.
