Snowmobilers in Mapleton can breath a sign of relief after a 2 year ban on area GRCA paths has come to an end.
The agreement was reached by the Lake Conestoga Snowmobilers and the GRCA which opens up 13 kilometers of trails that run northwest to southwest along Conestogo Lake on GRCA owned property in Mapleton.
There is also use of a clubhouse on the property.
The rest of the trails in Wellington North and Centre Wellington still remain off limits due to issues with the Snowmobile Clubs insurance policies and them not covering all aspects of the agreement required with the GRCA.
