Upper Grand Board advises of Plan for Staff Shortages in Return to In-Class

Board says a move to Remote Learning would only be Temporary and would only in Rare Circumstances but they wanted to alert of possibility.

The Upper Grand District School Board says that due to the widespread presence of Covid-19 in their communities, the board recognizes that staff shortages may be prevalent in the next week as students and staff return to school.

The Board says they will employ numerous strategies to ensure safety and supervision is maintained. They do recognize that in some extreme cases classes and/the school may have to transition to remote learning temporarily.

They ask parents and caregivers to watch carefully to messaging from the school next week that may signal a need to make the move.

They advise it would only happen in rare circumstances but wanted to alert of the possibility.
