Following another victim in Perth County falling victim to a scam, OPP are encouraging the public to attend an info session about frauds and scams.
Earlier this month a Perth East resident was contact by a scammer who posed as the victims grandson saying they had been in a crash which resulted in the victim sending $7000 to Quebec.
A second victim in a separate investigation found a North Perth resident had lost around $40,000 since December of last year.
An info session about frauds and scams will be held at Parkview Gardens in Listowel on September 25th at 2pm.
