Wellington County is looking for youth to sign up for their policing initiative running in the summer.
Applications are now being taken for this years Youth in Policing Initiative.
The program is open for those 15-18 years who live in Wellington County and are looking for a paid summer position which builds leadership skills, hands on experience and meaningful community connections.
The program runs for eight weeks over July and August with participants working 25 hours per week.
Successful applicants will be working at the Fergus or Teviotdale OPP detachment.
Applications are due by April 6th.
