The Town of Minto has partnered with YOLO Nomads to help bring in more growth and workplace attraction.
An online map launched with YOLO Nomads offers those who are looking to settle in Minto and either find work remotely or start up their own business in town.
The partnership aims to redirect the digital nomad traffic from already popular tourist spots to lesser known hidden gems and respond to the recent remote work boom while also allowing small communities to grow.
Director of Economic and Community Development for Minto, Belinda Wick-Graham says this partnership takes a two pronged approach for growth.
“Here in Minto we’re taking it as a two pronged approach that they can move here and work from home or move here and open businesses. Kind of the whole thing, residents and businesses.” said Wick-Graham.
Belinda adds this partnership aligns perfectly with their Move to Minto business and resident attraction campaign.
