After a year off, CAA is bringing back its worst roads campaign.
Any resident can vote for what they believe to be the worst road in the region or in the province itself they have experienced to be awful around.
While often many report bad roads as one always under construction or full of potholes, many others use the voting to shine light on roads outright unsafe causing many accidents, some to be fatal.
Locally, many look to the “S-Bend” as one of the areas more dangerous roads, the intersection of Perth Roads 140 and 91 (Wellington Roads 8 and 9) bordering Mapleton, Minto and North Perth.
A 55 year old lost their life in August last year on this road. Voting can be done from CAAWorstRoads.com
