Despite the return to in-person services for most churches, one has remain locked as the church is in talks to get their locks removed.
Trinity Bible Church in Woolwich was among those who held services during lockdown which prompted the government to place locks on the doors.
In a social media post, Associate Pastor Will Schuurman says an agreement couldn’t be reached on getting the locks removed which they were asked to abide by all restrictions both current and future under the Reopening Ontario Act.
The agreement also asked to refuse entry to anyone beyond capacity limits.
Schuurman adding they would not agree to the rules as they would never turn someone away from the church.
The church for the time being intends to hold service outdoors.
