A Woodstock Police Dog has died on the line of duty after responding to a drug call.
Woodstock police were helping Stratford Police with an investigation on Monday when two of the police dogs, Tazz and Striker appeared to have ingested drugs.
Both were taken to a veterinarian clinic where Tazz passed away.
Striker was able to recover and returned home. Tazz joined Woodstock Police in 2021 and was deployed last year.
The suspects involved in the incident have been arrested and charged.
