Wingham Hospital ED to close Sunday at 5pm and Reopen Monday at 7am

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance announced this afternoon the temporary closure of the Wingham Emergency Department due to staffing challenges.

The ED will close on Sunday, December 25^th at 5pm and reopen on Monday at 7 am.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.

EMS will remain available to the community and will re-route to surrounding hospitals to ensure residents have access to the emergency services they need.
