Wingham ER set for Temporary Closure from Friday at 9 pm to Saturday at 7am

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance announced a temporary closure of the  Wingham ER due to staffing issues. The closure runs from Friday, May 5^th at 9 pm to Saturday, May 6^th at 7 am.

Patients are still to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.

Ambulances will bypass the hospital during the closure period and travel to the nearest open ER.

Those include Listowel, Clinton, Goderich, Palmerston, Seaforth, Kincardine and Walkerton.

All local healthcare provided will be informed of the closure.
