The Alliance advises that as a result of the precarious health human resources situation it is extending the ER closure in Wingham for an additional shift.
The ER in Wingham will be closed Friday from 5pm until 7 am Saturday morning.
The department will then re-close on Saturday at 5pm and remain closed until Sunday evening at 7pm.
They advise for anyone requiring medical emergency services to call 911.
EMS will remain available in the community and re-route residents to surrounding hospitals.
