Wingham Emergency Department Closes Today due to Staffing Issues

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance announced this morning that as a result of a staffing shortage, the Wingham & District Hospital Emergency Department will temporarily close from 8am this morning until 7 pm this evening.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency

EMS will remain available to the community and re-route to surrounding hospitals to ensure local residents continue to have access to emergency services they need.
