The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation has received its largest gift in its history.
Britespan Building Systems has donated $1,000,000 for the hospitals Caring Together Capital Campaign.
The goal of the campaign to raise $2.5 million for a new CT Scanner and with the donation the campaign is well on its way to reaching the goal.
Currently patients who need a CT scan in Wingham are transported to Listowel and having a CT scanner on site will be faster, safer and help save money.
Mark Foxton, Chair of the Caring Together Campaign says Britspan has been a longtime supporter of the hospital and this gift cements them as true leaders in the community.
