The West Perth Wetlands and Trails have been reopened after a report last week of avian influenza in the area.
A confirmed case of the avian influenza was reported in Mitchell which caused the closure of the West Perth Wetlands.
The virus mainly affects birds but poses a low risk to humans in close contact with infected birds.
Residents are asked to stay on designated trails, avoid touching deceased wildlife and keep pets away from wild animals.
