A 60 year old West Grey man has been sentenced to five years in prison for dangerous driving causing death and failing to remain.
Ronald Oscar Seifried had also been charged with second degree murder but he pleaded guilty in February to dangerous driving and failing to remain in an incident on January 4th 2019 in Brockton which killed Steven Berfelz, Ronald’s 53 year old neighbour.
Superior Court Justice Bruce Durno gave Ronald 3 ½ years for dangerous driving causing death and another 18 months consecutive for failing to remain.
