With the suspension of first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, pharmacies in Wellington County are expected to be receiving both Modern and Pfizer vaccines in the coming weeks.
The AstraZeneca vaccine was offered at select pharmacies in the province with over 20,000 in Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph receiving a dose.
Those who received AstraZeneca can still book their 2nd dose, but which vaccine they receive is still yet to be determined.
Officials with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public health say the pause will not affect the vaccine rate for the region.
