Wellington County OPP is welcoming its newest Detachment Commander, Inspector Steve Thomas.
Thomas has served with the OPP for 17 years mostly spent within Wellington County.
Inspector Thomas has worked as a breath technician, scenes of crime officer and coach officer while working front line patrol before serving as a Detective Constable in the Community Street Crime Unit.

Thomas has also served as the Interim Detachment Commander at the Queen’s Park Detachment and most recently was the Interim Detachment Commander with Wellington County since January of this year.
