Wellington OPP investing Suspicious Trailer Fire in Fergus

The Wellington County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance regarding a suspicious fire at a utility trailer on Davison Place in Fergus.

Yesterday, August 1st, at approximately 8:30pm, Police and Centre Wellington Fire attended and extinguished the fire.

The trailer and nearby fence and shed were damaged as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The OPP Forensic Identification Service unit attended and processed the scene.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined pending further investigation by the Crime Unit.

The Wellington OPP and Crime Unit is asking anyone with information on the incident to contact Police or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
