Wellington North council on Monday approved its year in review, a deep dive into some projects and initiatives which were reached over the last year.
The Year in Review outlines activities taken by the township as well as new priority areas established in the 2024 strategic plan.
Some highlights include more than 400 community members attending the two Volunteer and Newcomer Celebrations, the reconstruction of Smith Street in Arthur being completed with a new pedestrian crossover, Wellington North Farmers Market celebrating 12 years of operation and upgrades to the Mount Forest and District Sportsplex and Arthur and Area Community Centre.
“I would like to congratulate staff and all of our partners for their tremendous efforts to
deliver the important services that make Wellington North a wonderful community to be
a part of,” said Mayor Andy Lennox.
“As a Council, we look forward to continue working towards the priorities identified as part of our 2024 Strategic Plan.”
