Wellington North is set to welcome newcomers to the area while also celebrating local volunteers.
The Volunteer Celebration and New Resident Welcome event is set for April 15th at the Arthur and Area Community Centre going from 4:30-8pm.
This event is a great benefit for new residents to learn more about their community, ask questions and receive a welcome bag of useful goods.
Newcomers can also grab a recycling bin if they haven’t already done so.
Mayor Andy Lennox says they look forward to recognizing and celebrating volunteerism in the community and also welcoming new residents and showing that Wellington North is a great place to live, work and raise a family.
The event is free but registration is required.
