Wellington North has received funding from the province as part of the Ontario’s Seniors Community Grant.
The township from the Ontario Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility is providing $25,000 in funding which will be used to deliver the Tech & Trek: Adventures, Connections and Learning Program which is aimed to create meaningful connections, promote inclusion and support lifelong learning.
Mayor Andy Lennox says seniors are a vital part of our community and to be able offer these services to them through the Tech & Trek program is much appreciated.
