Given a rise of COVID-19 numbers and the return of flu season, the Wellington Health Care Alliance has announced the return of masking in 3 hospitals across the area.
The healthcare alliance operates North Wellington Health Care with hospitals in Palmerston and Mount Forest as well as Groves Memorial Hospital.
Patients, visitors and staff will be required to wear masks in the emergency department, inpatient units, diagnostic imaging and ambulatory care areas.
