Wellington-Guelph has been recognized by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and Built for Zero Canada for reaching a series of milestones to prevent and reduce homelessness.
Wellington-Guelph was honoured as the 5th community in Canada to achieve Unsheltered Quality By Name Data, 8th community in Canada to achieve Coordinated Access Foundations and 22nd community in Canada to confirm Quality By Name Data 4.0 for All Homelessness.
Director of Housing Services, Dave Purdy says having high-quality data and a coordinated system allows us to connect people with the supports they need, and work toward reducing homelessness.
