As of 12:01 this morning, Wellington County has shifted into the red “control” stage on the COVID-19 framework.
The Norgan Theatre will be closed for the next 28 days as well as the Town of Minto Municipal Office. Essential services such as fire, water and road maintenance will continue.
Certain restrictions include a maximum indoor capacity for restaurants and gyms to 10 people as well as a maximum of 5 people for indoor social gatherings, 25 for outdoors. Wellington County could be moved from red on January 8th at the earliest.
Windsor-Essex and York Region are now in the grey lockdown procedure.
