As schools close in Wellington County, officials are offering an emergency child care program for school aged children.
The program, announced Wednesday, right as students logged in for remote learning. The emergency program is aimed towards parents who are essential workers and is completely funded by the county and Guelph at no cost to families.
To be eligible for the program, you must be considered on the list of eligible workers, be a resident of Wellington County or Guelph and need child care for at least two full days each week.
