Huron County OPP have updated residents regarding a bag of suspected cannabis gummies discovered by a Howick resident has resulted in police confirming the bag is not cannabis edibles and was just candy gummies.
Police spoke with the individual who distributed the candy who confirmed it was nothing more than candy, a total of 25 similar bags were distributed.
Police are still advising residents to be aware and check their kids Halloween candy and if there is any question or uncertainty of an item to dispose of it.
