The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus has returned from the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference in Ottawa which was held from August 18th-21st.
Over the conference the caucus discussed with provincial ministers and opposition parties to advocate for its strategic priorities.
For the 2024-25 year the caucus says their focus areas are housing, infrastructure, mental health, addictions and homelessness and workforce to support economic growth.
In advance of the conference members engaged with regional MPPs and senior provincial staff to present briefings, research and recommendations on key priority issues.
