The Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol is currently seeking volunteer actors for the Behind the Bars tour this summer.
Behind the Bars gives visitors the opportunity to learn about life at the Huron Historic Gaol through an immersive tour experience.
This tour allows visitors to interact with actors who are portraying inmates and staff who worked or lived at the Gaol between 1841 and 1911.
For this summer season, the Gaol is seeking volunteer actors aged 12+ to portray real inmates and staff from the Gaol’s past and to take part in interactive tours.
Volunteers will share highlights of their characters’ stories with those who visit.
