The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health is holding a virtual lecture series all on mental wellness.
Dubbed Grief We Carry and Roles We Inherit: Mental Wellness in Rural Families, the sessions feature Lauren Van Ewyk, Co-Founder of the National Farmer Mental Health Alliance who will speak on complicated grief as it comes up in rural life and where loss not only affects families but also farms, businesses and community roles.
The session will be held on April 14th from 12-1pm with the intended audience being for those living in rural areas, farming families and those working in the mental health space.
