Vaccine Appointments for Youth to Open Tuesday from Provincial Portal

As of 8am Tuesday morning, vaccine appointments will open up from the Ontario Portal for vaccine appointments for youth aged 5-11 to get their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Over one million children are eligible in the province for a dose of the Pfizer vaccine which is the only approved COVID-19 vaccine for the age group by Health Canada.

It’s expected first shots will be begin on Thursday November 25^th.

Huron Perth Public Health has said that they will begin booking vaccine appointments for the 5 to 11 age group once the adolescent doses of vaccine are confirmed to arrive in the area.
