The Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford-Perth has launched an urgent appeal campaign to raise funds for a 5 month old kitten in need of critical surgery on her hind leg.
The kitten, Hopscotch is heading into surgery today who arrived at the shelter as a stray.
She was found injured and in pain and struggling to walk where it was determined she needed surgery to stabilize her leg with surgical implants.
The cost for medical and care could reach up to $5000 or more by the time she is ready for adoption.
