United Way’s Co-Chair Beth Blowes says that Kristin’s previous experience, her connections with service providers, government and business make her an idea choice and adds that the council is looking forward to working together to further develop the SRPC’s role in gathering data and offering insight into social justice issues that mean the most to the people across the Region.
Ms. Crane comes to the Social Research & Planning Council from Huron County Economic Development, where she led the Immigration Partnership. She is said to bring extensive experience brining partners together to collaborate on solutions to community needs.
The United Way thanked the outgoing SRPC’s Director Joelle Lamport-Lewis adding she contributed so much to building the SRPC saying they will miss her vision and enthusiasm.
