The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says the recent numbers on the unemployment rate for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region went up 0.8 percentage points last month.
This brings the total number to 4.4 per cent.
Employment gains were seen in educational services with losses in the services producing sector which deceased by 3400, the largest in the last 12 months for the industry.
Job postings across Perth, Huron, Bruce and Grey have all increased overtime since the pandemic.
