The Upper Grand District School Board has welcomed Alicia Ralph as the boards Human Rights and Equity Advisor.
Alicia currently serves as the System Equity Officer for the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board who in this role works at the executive level to address human rights and equity for students and staff.
The role for the Human Rights and Equity advisor will have a significant impact for the school board, working with system leaders to enhance and expand culture of respect for human rights and equity and champion the identification and elimination of systemic barriers.
Alicia will start her role on August 21st.
