The Upper Grand District School Board has reached a collective agreement with 5 local union partners.
Agreements had previously been reached with a range of unions with two CUPE bargaining units, Local 256 ESL and Local 256 Custodial and Maintenance.
The agreements cover a period of September 2022-August 31st 2026.
UGDSB Chair of the Board Ralf Mesenbrink says they look forward to seeing tentative local agreements with remaining employee groups in the near future, completing the current round of negotiations.
