The Upper Grand District School Board is continuing the urge the school community keep wearing masks indoors.
During a business operations meeting the director of education, Peter Sovran says the current absence rates is challenging the board as he stated a combination of staff and student absences in the schools has increased after the March Break.
Measures such as daily screening, staying home if not feeling and practicing proper hand hygiene remain recommended.
Officials also saying while not mandatory, its still encouraged for the school community to consider wearing a mask indoors when in close proximity to others.
