The Upper Grand District School Board is launching a new PSW program in Guelph starting in January next year.
The hands on program is designed for those ready to build a career supporting health and well being of others in homes, long term care and support settings.
The program will run from January-September at College Heights Secondary with 330 hours of hands on placement experience.
Melissa McDowall, Principal of Continuing Education at the UGDSB says this is a wonderful opportunity for adults seeking a career in healthcare and for them as a board to contribute to the vital workforce the community needs.
