Upper Grand District School Board students in grades 7 and 8 will soon come together for the 2026 Empowerment Series.
Empowerment Day was originally developed by two students from Drayton Heights Public School in 2015 which was carried by Elora Public School by hosting world renowned motivational speakers, presenters and performers.
Unlike previous years, Empowerment Day is being brought to students in four events which will include at the Drayton Festival Theatre, Elora Public School, OAS Event Centre and University of Guelph.
The motto this year for the 2026 Empowerment Series is Kindness Matters.
