Two youths are facing weapons charges after an incident in Listowel.
On May 4th just after 8pm Perth County OPP responded a report of two youth in possession of air soft guns in the area of Davidson Ave North.
Officers arrived to the scene and as a result of investigation both youth were arrested and face multiple charges.
A 15-year-old resident of North Perth was charged with:
· Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (Three counts)
· Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose
· Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
· Carrying a Concealed Weapon
· Failure to Comply with Undertaking
· Breach of Recognizance
The youth was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A second 15-year-old resident of North Perth was charged with:
· Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
· Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose
· Possession of Imitation Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
· Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
The youth was released from custody and given a future court date in Stratford.
