The Stratford General Hospital has been able to add two important pieces of medical equipment, coming off the support of the community.
The Medical Devices Reprocessing Department in the fiscal year has received a Dry Cabinet valued at $33,343.53 and a NOVA 8 Software Upgrade for the Carousel Storage System for $8,072.75.
The new drying cabinet supports the safe and efficient reprocessing of delicate medical devices which cannot withstand the high temperatures of traditional washer and disinfectors.
The NOVA 8 upgrade ensures the carousel storage system can continue operating safely and efficiently while the department prepared for its transition to a new manual picking system.
